Series description

Dinostar is a high-capacity vertical milling machine designed for precision machining of very large components. Equipped with a gantry-type structure and advanced FEM-optimized cast-iron frames, Dinostar ensures maximum rigidity, vibration damping, and accuracy during the most demanding machining cycles.
At the heart of Dinostar is a series of special motor-spindles developed by FPT’s engineering team, delivering up to 100 kW of power, 11,250 Nm of torque, and spindle speeds up to 7,000 rpm. These spindles are engineered for reduced heat generation, minimal noise, and low maintenance, guaranteeing long-term stability and performance.

Ideal For
The Dinostar is built for industries requiring the machining of massive and high-value parts, such as aerospace, energy, heavy machinery, and die & mold. With its combination of power, accuracy, and long-term reliability, it stands as one of FPT’s flagship solutions for extra-large vertical milling applications.
